In addition, HDMI supports PCM multi-channel audio and Bitstream audio formats.

This exquisite system enables full interactive access to downloadable video content, ringtones, and games. In addition, it offers the ability to easily access (during live playback) additional Blu-ray content such as special subtitles, director's commentary, and movie trailers. Enjoy the ability to choose from 12,000 movies and TV episodes from Netflix (with optional subscription) for instant viewing without a disc; or easily listen to Internet Radio via Pandora (with optional subscription). Pandora provides digital music personalized to your particular taste.

• Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD

It's capable of decoding Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD digital audio. Dolby Digital Plus uses less compression than regular Dolby Digital to reproduce fuller and more dynamic sound effects with up to eight discrete channels of surround sound. Additionally, it reproduces Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS audio at a 24-Bit rate. The dynamic range of this system is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.

• Rear-Wireless Ready

An optional rear-wireless speaker module offers the ability to expand your surround sound home theater system without making unnecessary holes in your walls or floors. It eliminates the need to run messy wiring from the back of the receiver to rear speakers located across the room. Its 5.8GHz wireless RF frequency offers an operating range of 33' and outputs 166W x2 channels.

• iPod and iPhone Connectivity

Samsung offers the ability to connect your iPod or iPhone device to the receiver with the included iPod docking cradle. Your iPod or iPhone effectively becomes another Samsung component flowing through the system. The dock is compatible with most iPod (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th generations), nano (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th generations), mini, classic, touch (1st, 2nd generations) models, and iPhone (4GB, 8GB, 16GB), iPhone 3G (8GB, 16GB) models.

• USB Host and Ethernet Connectivity

You can connect and play files from external USB storage devices such as MP3 players, USB flash memory, etc. using the unit's USB HOST function. In addition, the USB and Ethernet connections enable this unit to be updated with future Firmware upgrades, applications and services, as well as for connecting to BD-Live with a wireless LAN adapter. Also, when connected to the USB port an optional wireless LAN adapter enables you to connect to the Internet via an optional wireless IP sharer.

This interactive player offers the ability to easily access (during live playback) additional Blu-ray content. Some BD-Video incorporates the PIP function in pre-selected scenes; BonusView enables you to display the secondary video source over the primary video.

• BD Wise

With other compatible Samsung components, BD Wise, which is an inter-connectivity function, enables you to either (On mode) output the original resolution of the BD or DVD disc to the TV, or (Off mode) output a fixed resolution according to the resolution previously set.

• Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) Function

Anynet+ is a function that can be used to operate the system using a Samsung TV remote control, by connecting the unit to a Samsung TV using an HDMI Cable. This is only available with Samsung TVs that support Anynet+. Now you can operate the HT-BD1250T, power on your TV, or watch a movie by pressing the Play button on your Samsung TV's remote control; it's that simple.
