• S-AIR Technology
    S-AIR is an ingenious technology that offers the ability to establish rear surround sound audio to your home theater system without making unnecessary holes in your walls or floors. This system is compatible with the WAHT-SA1 and/or WAHT-SA10 wireless kit. It eliminates the need to run messy wiring from the back of your receiver to the rear speakers located across the room.

    In addition, the optional EZW-T100 S-AIR Ready Transmitter and AIR-SA10 Air Station receiver/speaker (all sold separately), offers the ability to distribute wireless audio up to (4) rooms in your home with sound from the main unit. 

• HDMI Output with 1080p Upconversion
    It features an HDMI output, capable of reproducing and upconverting video signals to 720p, 1080i and 1080p HD. This technology enables this player to carry the HD audio and video information through a single cable and achieving the highest quality picture and clearest sound available. 

• BRAVIA Home Theater Sync
    Go beyond simple audio and video transmission with the "one-touch play" remote control feature that allows you to easily manage select BRAVIA televisions and Sony HDMI audio and video components with the included remote control. 

• Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS
    This system reproduces Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS audio at a 24-bit rate. The dynamic range of this system is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.

    Enjoy better sound as the automatic calibration system adjusts for speaker placement, distance and delay. Just hold the included microphone at your listening position and Digital Signal Processing does the rest. 

• Multi-Format Playback Capability
    It offers a full-range of playback capabilities for enjoying movies, music and images. It can playback DVD-Video, DVD-R/W, DVD+R/W, DVD+R DL, VCD, CD, CD-R/RW, CD-DA, SA-CD, MP3, JPEG. 

• Progressive Scan
    Capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.
